Amybeth McNulty (born in Dublin in Ireland) is an Irish Canadian actress. Her most well-known role is her role as the main character Anne Shirley in the CBC/Netflix drama series Anne with an E, based on the 1908 novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Amybeth McNulty, born 7 November 2001, is daughter of an Irish father and a Canadian father and an Irish mother. Amybeth was conceived on November 7th 2001, in Ireland. In 2023, Amybeth will turn twenty. She was raised on the island of Donegal in Ireland. She is a dual citizen of Canada and Ireland. She is a blonde. Anne developed a relationship complex with Gilbert Blythe. Gilbert, 2 years younger than Anne and studying at Anne's level after his father fell ill had interrupted his study. Gilbert initially called Anne Carrots. Amybeth McNulty stars as Anne, a 13-year-old who has suffered a rough childhood in orphanages, as well as home of strangers. Anne was mistakenly placed in the home that was Matthew Cuthbert and Marilla Cuthbert who resided in Prince Edward Island. As the series ends, the year is 1919, and the characters have a great time; Gilbert is 55 and is still deeply loving Anne from Green Gables.
